"This is the third year that ReBoot(TM)has been recognized as a nominee for a Gemini Award," said Mainframe President and CEO Christopher Brough. "On behalf of everyone connected with ReBoot(TM), we are excited about, and very much appreciate, receiving such recognition from our fellow Canadians in the television industry." ReBoot(TM) won the Gemini for Best Animated Series in 1995 and 1996 and garnered a Gemini for Outstanding Technological Achievement in 1996 for the company's advances in computer animation. Mainframe Entertainment Inc. has produced two seasons of ReBoot(TM), the world's first completely 3D computer animated half-hour TV series, and is currently in production on season three. As well, the company is finishing production of the first season of its new computer-animated show Beast Wars(TM), known as Beasties(TM) in Canada. Both shows are consistently rated in YTV's top 10 viewership in Canada and have earned consistently high Nielsen ratings in the U.S. where they are syndicated in 112 television markets by Claster Television. The latest additions to Mainframe's product line are two ride films based on the ReBoot(TM) franchise for the IMAX(R) Ridefilm(TM) motion simulation system.
